Shots in the Night, the unique ‘golf after dark’ experience, is returning to the City of Indian Wells on October 17 for another season of fun for the whole family.
This experience is just one of many to show off the Indian Wells Golf Resort’s new improvements this fall season. With the opening of the new VUE Grille & Bar restaurant after a summer of renovations, attendees at Shots in the Night can now enjoy dinner before or after golfing thanks to the improvements to the VUE’s bar, dining room, and kitchen.
The attraction is built for golfers and non-golfers alike. Participants are able to hit glow-in-the-dark golf balls at large, Lighted Targets from varying tees and distances. The Targets will blink and react when hit by a ball. Various glow games will also be offered, and new fire Tables have been installed for the enjoyment of golfers and diners.
In addition to the driving range fun, Shots in the Night offers various putting green games with lasers, big-screen televisions and more. A food truck is available for hungry patrons, which is also run by the VUE.
Other fun events to welcome residents back for the season include the beloved Living Desert, the botanical garden and zoo that has been voted ‘One of the 10 best zoos in the US’, and works to help conserve the beautiful and unique ecosystem the California desert is comprised of.
Additions and improvements to local hotels including the Hyatt Regency and Renaissance Esmeralda also await residents and visitors alike. The Hyatt’s $20 million remodel includes new water features at the pool, upgrades to the lobby, restaurants and meeting space to be completed in 2020. The Renaissance is just putting in the last touches on a $20 million investment to renovate their lobby, bar and all of their rooms.
